For more than 50 years Waimea Harriers has been encouraging running and walking for people of all ages. We believe running is wonderful for people's fitness and general health! Our motto is 'Run for your life!'
Waimea Harrier events cater for people of all abilities, including competitive runners and walkers, families looking for an outdoor activity they can enjoy together, and social runners and walkers of all ages.
We pride ourselves on the warm welcome we give to everyone.
2025 Waimea Harriers Membership is now OPEN.
It's time to re-new your membership or join afresh!
The new membership year runs from
01/12/2024 to 30/11/2025 irrespective of joining date.
Individual adult membership is $40.
Joint/Couple/Family membership is $60.
Single adult & child/children is $40.
Schoolchildren and youth students are Free.
There is a small surcharge if you pay by credit card.

Upcoming Events
Sharland Cycles 5k Fun Run & Walk Series 2024-25
Wednesday 18 December
This Wednesday it's the last 5k for 2024 so don some Christmas finery ready to run or walk a very merry Berryfields course!
There will be a small Christmas treat for everyone crossing the finish line and prizes for the best junior and senior Christmas costume!
Registration will be from 5:30pm in the Club Waimea Carpark (Google Maps HERE).
Walkers Briefing: 6:00pm at Start Line
Walkers Start: 6:05pm.
Runners Briefing: 6:05pm by Check-In
Runners Start: 6:15pm.
Entry Fee: $3 (free for school kids and youth students).
A Spot Prize Draw will take place in Club Waimea after each event - you need to be present to win.

Please arrive a little early so we can make sure everyone
has a Webscorer number and correct start.
everyone is very welcome to join us,
these runs have no marshals, no cones, no entry fee,
(a few exceptions)
you just turn up and enjoy.
All competitors enter at their own risk with safety being
the priority for all competitors.
Come along and give it a go
